You may
check your ticket number/s with the list.
How
to read the results: simply look up your number
in the "Número" columns (numbers listed in
ascending order) and if you find it, the prize shows to the
right in the "Euros" column. This is the prize per
full ticket (10 décimos) so if you only played 1 décimo, you
have to divide that Euros prize by 10. For example, if your
number shows "1000" in the Euros column and you
played 1 décimo, you won 100 Euros.
For those
who purchased tickets from us, we will
also e-mail you soon advising of you of any money won in the
draw. If you bought your tickets from us and have trouble
downloading the results above, please e-mail us at
gordo@thefatone.com
and we will send the results list via e-mail to you.
How
to claim your prize: PLEASE NOTE that all
prizes for this drawing expire on March 22nd, 2005 (3 months
after the draw date).
1) For
those who purchased tickets from us via the "Play &
Share" method, we have your tickets and will claim the
prize money and send you a bank check in your name for the
amount of the prize less the 25% that corresponds us.
2) For
those who purchased tickets from us via the "Full
Play" method and had us hold your tickets until the draw,
we have your tickets and will claim the prize money and send
you a bank check in your name for the full prize amount due.
3) For
those who purchased tickets from us via the "Full
Play" method and had us send you your tickets before
draw, you have your tickets and, as stated on our
conditions page

For those who choose to have their tickets sent to them pre-draw,
the collection of any and all prizes is entirely up to them (the player)."
You can
however choose to have us claim your prize money by sending us

- 1) We will not be
held responsable for lost tickets (tickets that never
reach us or bank checks that are lost in the mail when
sent back to you).
- 2) We will
subtract a 30€ (thirty Euros) fee for this
service to pay for the emission of the bank check and
return postage.
- 3) As we will
need to turn in the winning ticket, you will obviously
not get it back.

PLEASE NOTE: There are a LOT
of lotto scams out there. If you
have been notified (either via letter or e-mail) that you have
won the "el Gordo"Spanish lottery and you did not
actually play the lottery, it is a SCAM!!! Do not respond to
the notice. The most popular scam is when you recieve a letter
or e-mail saying you won a ton of money and it is being held
for you at a Spanish company (eg. a financial or insurance
company). They provide you a claim number and ask you to fill
out a form and send it to them and then if you do they will
ask you to transfer them a small fee to their accounts so that
they can process your prize claim. IF
YOU WIRE THE SMALL FEE, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN.
DO NOT, WE REPEAT DO NOT EVEN RESPOND.
AS
A GENERAL RULE TO LIVE BY, REMEMBER "IF YOU DID NOT PLAY
THE LOTTO, YOU DID NOT WIN THE LOTTO!!!".
